Reminder of the day: Candy Kills

Long before Swine Flu, Candy was the #1 killer of American children.*

To keep your child safe, install a cage either around the candy or around the child.

Making Candy a Home

Making candy a home is my favourite because then it is both candy and a home. When you make candy a home, you will find that it is very homey and also very candy.

I made this home and it is very luscious and flaky.

Dieting? Make veggies home.

We at "Making Candy Home" endorse healthy alternatives to candy...sometimes.

OOPS!

This is not candy. Do not make swine-flu home.

E.T. was right on!

Reese's Pieces are a delight! Craving some late-afternoon sugar (and not just from my lovey-dovey :) I bought some from the little bodega in the lobby of our office building. I typically choose a Whatchamacallit, or stay classic with a Snickers, but on this particular drab, rainy day I was ready to mix things up. What a great call on my part!

The brightly coloured hard candy outer-shell gives way to a peanut buttery burst in your mouth. The crunchiness can only be described as satisfying and the peanut butter as peanut buttery. Totes Yummers!

Hush little baby

I hope we haven't bitten off more than we can chew...?
